Personal Objects Photo Shoot 1
Personal Objects Photo Shoot 2
These background photos are pictures in my own design. the first picture is a keyboard and i used really close up camera for this to make it look good. The second picture shows a computer monitor and i made it blurry for an effect. The next picture is a wire and the main part of the photo is darkened so you can see the image clearer. The next image i edited was a mouse and i blurred the outsides out and focused in on the word. The next photo i edited was a piece of lined paper and i again used a dark effect at the back of the photo to make it look interesting. i then took a picture of my hand for a design to show a background picture. Then the next image is my shoe and sock and i took the photo so you can only see half the shoe and half the sock. The next picture is scissors in the background with a white long clef making it a background photo. The next photo is two curtain bulbs and i put one of them in front of the photo and one bulb at the back to make it 3d. The last photo is a long pole and three photos at the top and i stretched the effect to make it look good.

Experimenting with image and text
the first picture i took a picture of my arm and used a loyalty word to edit it onto my arm and it was the same for the rest. the other pictures were images of my leg, fingers, head, my arm, my hand, my ear and my lips.
I am very happy with these photos because they look similar to the project im working on here. there is writing over the face so I decided to write over my hands in response. I used strong words because I feel like they are motivations in life and they are important for people to see.
Photo-shoot
I took these photos to show an aspect of someone's personality. I wanted to show the model as a confident, outgoing person. The photos also show how we as people use money to cover up our identity and buy confidence with clothes. The model wants to show his wealth off, this is often done buy buying expensive clothes and cars.
Bob Martin
In Response to Bob Martin
My hobby is football which is a big aspect of my personality and my identity. In these photos I wanted to show different view points and movement to show excitement of the game
Edits Refining my Ideas
I edited the photos in the style of Bob Martin. I really like the contrast between colour and black and white, it adds depth and contrast.
RANKIN
Waddell was born in Paisley and brought up in St Albans, Bedfordshire. Whilst studying accounting at Brighton Polythenic , he realised that his interests lay elsewhere and dropped out, taking up the study of photography at Barnfield College Luton and then London college of printing. During this time, Rankin met Jefferson Hack, with whom he formed a working relationship. The two decided to start a magazine together called Dazed and Confused once they had graduated.
In Response To Rankin- Exploring peoples identity through modelling
I was particularly inspired by how Rankin brings out different peoples personalities in his photo shoots. I took photos that explored peoples personality through posing.
Refining my Work Step by Step Process To Final Piece
I used brightness and contrast to make an effect on the image. I increased the brightness to 86 to make the background more clearer and lighter. I increased contrast up to 100 to make the picture stand out. how I done this was that I went to properties then brightness/ contrast.
I used levels to make the image even more clearer. I moved the arrow a tiny bit to the right to do this and I went to properties and then levels to make this picture have an effect.
I used curves to make the picture be realistic and I done this by bending the line to the right to make it like this and how I done this was that I went to properties and then curves.
I used saturation to make the photo more colourful and on my way to my final piece. I increased the saturation to +25 and how I done this was that I went to properties and then hue/ saturation
Final Piece
I have selected this image as my final piece as I think it looks good technically. The coat has been used to hide certain aspects of the model, they are also looking away from the camera to show they are shy. I really like the movement of the hands and contrasting light between the background and the model.
